RenaultSport Clio 182, Low Mileage & Both Cup Packs

Listed for sale is my trusty Clio 182 ‘Full Fat’ in silver. I have owned it for a year & had planned on keeping it for the foreseeable however, I have just, rather unexpectedly, purchased a Megane R26 which has required a lot of work, so I am unable to keep both. It went in for a health check at my local RS specialist in June & had a couple of things dealt with so the car will not require any major maintenance work for the foreseeable future. The car is based in Edinburgh & is currently SORN’d & stored in my garage. Approaching 66k miles, so a really low mileage example for the year of the car. I am a mature owner in his thirties who has taken good care of the car, servicing/maintaining as required & regularly washing/detailing. The last owner was also a mature owner & it my understanding that the owner prior to the last was an ex-race car engineer who had undertaken regular servicing, belt changes in 2012 & a suspension refresh during his ownership. In terms of modifications, it has the following, fairly ‘standard’/popular: K-Tec exhaust Polybush engine mounts Polybush tie bar RSTuner 98RON Map (device supplied with car) Aftermarket Bluetooth head unit In addition, the car will come with an uprated gearbox mount that has not been fitted It has been run only on V-Power during my ownership & I believe that to be the case for the last two owners back to at least 2012. It has also never been driven hard when cold whilst I have owned it. It has been maintained & serviced regularly, with the most recent service having been carried out by myself in June at 65k (air filter, pollen/cabin filter, spark plugs) & it breezed through its MOT in November of last year with no advisories. In terms of more extensive work/maintenance, the more recent work carried out is as follows: January 2017 – Belts changed, alternator replaced, PAS pump replaced & fluid replaced June 2018 – Front discs & pads changed, o/s/f ball joint replaced July 2018 – Front alloys refurbished (OEM), 2 new front tyres (Toyo T1-R Proxes – rears match) I would say that the car overall is in good condition. The interior has no rips and due to only having 65k on the clock looks very good, with the slight exception being some bobbling on the alcantara fronts & a slight bit of wear on the driver bolster. The bodywork on the whole is pretty good given its age. There are a few stone chips on the front bumper & bonnet together with odd scratch/scuff on the bodywork in general, but nothing horrifying. All electrics work fine, the aircon is ice cold & the car runs great. It has served up no major issues during my ownership & has been a hoot to drive around in. It comes with a decent stack of receipts that show it has been well cared for so I will state that it has a strong service history, rather than an FSH/stamped book etc. There are, as always, a few issues that are worth noting. I had planned to get everything sorted on the car this summer however the sudden purchase of the Megane means I have to move the car on before I can address them all. There is a dent around the drivers’ door handle. It actually doesn’t look too bad & hasn’t split the paint, but it’s certainly worth noting. The oil & oil filter weren’t changed when I serviced the car last as I didn’t have time & now I don’t have time or space in which to do this. The oil, filter & washer will come with the car so it’s an easy issue to rectify (last done at 58k, so it’s not grossly overdue). There is a small crack on the windscreen (passenger side), right down near the dashboard. It’s not gotten any worse & has no effect on the MOT so I have left it be. Comes with V5 & two keys (both in full working order).Hopefully I’ve covered everything but I am more than happy to field any questions you may have. Many thanks ***Sold As Seen***
