Services at 8380, 18613, 26342, 37773, 50426, 64028, 78089, 89715, 102967, 113709 and 125824 miles The cambelt was changed the first time at 50810 miles and then at 129095 miles just over 2 weeks ago, at the same time the Aux belt, Water pump, Thermostat and the cam cover and cam seals were replaced. There is a full Ktec receipt for £653.30 for this work. In the other folders you will find thousands of pounds of receipts for work, this car has been very well looked after, in the last few months alone it has had new genuine wiper blades, Wiper motor, Rear discs and pads, New NGK plugs, a new wheel bearing, 4 new tyres, laser alignment and full geometry setup. Internally the car is well specced and the seats are in good condition, there is a small repair maybe 7mm across on the upper bolster of the drivers seat but overall it’s pretty tidy. The carpets are nice and clean, dry too with no leaks or stains and the car has never been smoked in. All the electrics work and the optional cabasse stereo has an aux input added so you can plug in your phone and stream music. Externally the car still polishes up well and looks pretty smart, that said it is 12 years old and does have the usual marks and scratches, some stone chips on the front end etc The wheels too have some curb marks which may or may not bother you but they do benefit from 4 new tyres within the last 3 months. The 20mm spacers fill the arches really well and combined with the 40mm drop the car sits really nicely and handles like a dream when you’re pushing on. The Milltek exhaust and Ktec manifold give the car a nice growl and with the ITG panel filter there’s a nice howl as you climb above 5000 rpm. I’ve loved owning the car and always wanted a Renaultsport but it’s not a car for commuting, I’ve just changed my job and I need something quieter, more sensible and more economical, this isn’t the car for doing 250 miles a week in heavy traffic. There are of course a few issues with the car, all well documented RS 197 issues…. The full Milltek and Manifold sound great but they’ve magnified the 2000rpm flat spot and kangarooing when cold, the car needs a remap to sort this out. I originally planned to have one but I’ve ended up driving it without as it’s only really an issue for the first 2-3 minutes from cold. The exhaust heatshields rattle, they corrode around the fixing clips allowing movement and the fix is simply to remove each clip, add a large washer and refit the clip. There are approximately 15 clips underneath and I have the washers ready to fit but I’ve been waiting for a warm dry day to get under the car, I’ll include them in the sale. The tailpipes have some damage and corrosion, I was going to get them replaced at my local exhaust place as personally I prefer the slash cut pipes of the original Renault box, again they look fine from 5 feet away it depends how much of a perfectionist you are The steering wheel has the normal peeling but I didn’t think it was worth spending the £150 for a royal re-trim. Other than that it’s just the curbed wheels and general wear and tear, I’m not trying to put you off but I’d rather be clear and transparent than waste your time and mine. See my 19 years of feedback and you’ll see I don’t mess about. The car will come with the original exhaust system, I also have a set of Mr Pinkpins stainless caliper pins, A set of boxed Brembo pads, 2 new rear glass seals and a full size spare wheel with tyre. If you decide to use the Buy it Now option I’ll also include a full Cup steering rack which I bought as an upgrade but haven’t got round to fitting. I have the full V5 in my name at my address, All the manuals, 2 key cards (fully working) Spare batteries, 2 RFID pouches to keep the keys in, Nimbus grey touch up paint, and all the service history and receipts for the last 12 years. The car is on a SORN as of last week and the mileage will not increase now I have my new car, you are more than welcome to view and either my Wife or I can be about most evenings. Collection within 7 days and I will require a £200 non refundable deposit within 12 hours of the auction closing. We are more than happy to collect you from either Exeter or Honiton train stations if you’re coming by Rail, if you’re driving down we’re just ten minutes from Exeter and the M5 motorway so easily accessible. If you have questions please feel free to get in touch Best regards James On 03-Mar-19 at 15:52:14 GMT, seller added the following information: I knew I’d forget something, The gearbox is beautifully smooth with no crunches or other issues between any of the gears.
