The Renault Clio is one of the most exciting hot hatchbacks to be made in the last 20 years. Taking inspiration from an epic classic the Peugeot 205 GTi, the Clio Trophy is so highly regarded it is thought of as possibly the best hot hatchback, of all time, ever. So high is it’s praise many Motoring magazines reviewed it in group tests alongside bona fide supercars. Reknowned for excellent steering feel, chassis adjustability, tenacious grip, fantastic handling and punchy straight line performance, the Clio is often underrated as a performance car and shocks many a more powerful car. On a twisty, undulating road, there are few cars that offer more smiles per mile.
